1-8 got the crown in Montage

After grabbing the spotlight last August in the Sabayang Pagbigkas competition, section 1-8 brought home the bacon in Montage, a radio drama contest for the freshmen held last November 18 at the St. Elizabeth Hall.

With the theme N’veloping the Entity that is Nursing, the freshmen from sections 1 to 5, 7 to10 and 12 showcased their talents and their creativity as they presented different stories about the reasons why students chose the nursing profession as their program of choice.

Asst. Prof. Zendel M. Taruc, UST-CON Filipino professor, Mr. Claude Yumul, Managing Communications major at the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters and Mr. Miguel Garcia, a junior student from the College of Architecture, evaluated the performances of the contenders.

Runners-up for the said event were I-3 and I-2 who placed second and third respectively while I-12 bagged the Best Scrapbook Award.
